Ever wondered who to thank for some of the most iconic and legendary fashion looks in "Sex and the city''? Well, her name is Patricia Field, a 73-year-old costume designer still killing the game while dressing some of the world's biggest actors and actresses of our time. Mrs. Field spent her years as a curator and entrepreneur and working on some major fashion projects in Hollywood, amongst them "Sex and the City", "Devil Wears Prada", and "Ugly Betty", just to name a few. New York City went into a frenzy 3 years ago when Patricia -NYC's Punk Queen, decided to close up shop. "No more Bedazzled hoodies. No more rhinestones bustiers." Wrote a die-hard Field's fan, lamenting the end of an era. Her "Bazaar," as she likes to call it, has been the countercultural bastion in New York City for nearly half a century. When I heard news of her visit to Miami I knew I had to meet her. I rounded up the girls and headed straight over to SLS at her Pop up shop. We exchange a few laughs and shared a couple of SATC fun facts. Overall, a night well spent.
